강서구청장 12시 투표율 11.4%…직전 지선보다 2.9%p 낮아

10·11 서울 강서구청장 보궐선거의 낮 12시 투표율이 11.4%로 집계됐다.

중앙선거관리위원회에 따르면 이날 선거는 오전 6시부터 시작됐다. 낮 12시 기준 강서구 전체 유권자 50만603명 중 5만6944명이 투표에 참여했다.

이는 강서구청장 선거가 포함됐던 지난해 6·1 지방선거의 서울시 전체 투표율 14.6%보다 낮고,강서구청장시투표율직전지선보다p낮아 강서구 투표율(14.3%)보다 2.9%포인트 낮았다.

또 직전 보궐선거인 2021년 4·7 서울시장 보궐선거 때의 같은 시간 서울시 전체 투표율은 15.6%, 강서구 투표율은 14.8%보다도 낮았다.

이번 보궐선거는 서울 강서구 1곳에서 진행된다. 사전투표를 하지 않은 유권자는 이날 오후 8시까지 지정된 투표소에서 투표할 수 있다.

오후 1시부터는 사전투표도 반영돼 투표율이 집계된다. 지난 사전투표율은 22.64%로 역대 재보궐선거, 지방선거 중 가장 높은 수치를 기록해 투표율이 급증할 것으로 예상된다.
